Notes:
1 | Holiday Weekend: Holiday weekends add an extra day or two, and are significantly more expensive.
2 | Show Weekend: Entertainment provided by campers. Always amusing.
3 | "Excuse" Weekend: The rules again public sex aren't forced. Very hot!
4 | A leather vendor will be selling at camp. I'm hoping the selection will be better.
5 | Contest Weekend |
I'll be at Hillside more often than will TJ and Lou this year, but I expect you'll be seeing all of us at various times. Because I'm relying this year on the generosity of friends who are kind enough to invite me to stay with them, I don't have a set schedule this year ... so if you're planning on coming up, drop a line and let me know. I live only half an hour from the camp, and can easily "day camp" for a day (or a night ... ;) ).
Reservations can be made after March 1 by calling 570-756-2007.
Over 165 secluded acres of mountains, a small stream and natural beauty located in the Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Over 200 campsites; ideal campsites along the shaded creek as well as some remote sites. Most sites have water and electric on them; also, a few very large sites to accommodate groups of 80 or more campers. There are large and clean rest rooms, flush toilets, and a pure water supply.
For those who enjoy the quiet solitude, there are beautiful hiking trails.
"Clothing Optional" is permitted on the property and there are plenty of nice locations -- especially around the sparkling clean in-ground pool, swimming, sunbathing or playing volleyball.
Disco at the rec-hall (with a stage for shows) Friday & Saturday 9pm - 2am, or star gaze by the huge bonfire... Bonfire and disco start about 1 hour later on "show nights"...
CAMPSITE FACILITIES:
Tenters: All sites have picnic tables and fireplaces; most have electric and water at
the site. Remote sites are available.
Trailer & R.V.'s: All sites have electric/water hook-up, picnic tables, fireplaces and
nearby dumping station.
Small Cabins: There are small cabins for rent, call for more information. Please, no pets
in cabins.
Storage Lockers: Long term storage lockers for tents and camping equipment are available.
Camp Store: Features basic camp supplies, ice, swim suits, firewood, munchies, etc.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
All members must be 21 or older, and supply POSITIVE I.D. Membership cards can be revoked at any time at owner's discretion. Cards are issued only at the campground itself. Fee is $4 for the season. All campers must register at the office prior to entering the campground! No check-in's before 10am any day, or after midnight Friday & Saturday, or after 9pm Sunday through Thursday without prior notice.
LOCATION:
Hillside is located mid-way between Binghamton, NY and Scranton, PA. The camp is just three miles off I-81 at the Gibson exit (new exit #219; old exit #66); from the exit, go east on Rt 848 for 1.9 miles and turn left on Creek Road (a sharp left at the bottom on a long hill). Then go one mile to the camp entrance on the right. The camp logo is a rabbit under a pine tree.
DEDICATION:
Hillside Campgrounds is a "private membership only" all-male campground where you can be yourself, relax, have fun and meet new friends. Our security is good, tight and enforced.
